About Attorney Kristi Hartmann
Kristi Hartmann received her B.A. from the University of Kansas in 2003 and her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 2007. She is licensed in Kansas and Missouri and maintains an active and varied business and real estate law and estate planning/probate practice. Kristi is experienced in business entity formation, business owner and employment contracts, buy/sell agreements, business divorce, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and covenants not to compete. She assists individuals and business owners in all aspects of estate planning/probate and business succession planning. Her real estate practice involves sales, purchases, leasing, financing, quiet title actions and real estate litigation strategy.
Kristi was voted a top rated Kansas City estate planning & probate lawyer in Super Lawyer’s Super Lawyer list from 2018 through 2021, and was voted the same in Super Lawyer’s Rising Stars list for 2015-2017. She was also selected as a 2016 “Best of the Bar” honoree by the Kansas City Business Journal.
Kristi is happily married with three wonderful stepkids. She lives on a lake and loves to garden. She is a Certified Introductory Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers and enjoys entertaining and pairing wine with her home cooked meals.
